Brothers' Keeper

A turn-based tactics game, coming soon to iPhone. Lead a small company across a grid of forest, mill and river, one fight at a time. The first chapter is playable here.

The demo: Ashbrook

Ashbrook, a mill village on the edge of the Thornwild, is losing its people a few at a time, at night. The King sends his company. Four fights stand between them and the mill door: the Mill Road, the Weir, the Smoke Alleys, and the Widow's Mill.

It runs in your browser on a computer or phone, with no install. It's the same rules engine as the app, built for the web.

How it plays

  • Tap one of your units, then a blue tile to move it.
  • Red tiles are foes in reach: the number is the damage you'll deal, KO a sure kill. A Priest or Mage can heal a friend on a green tile.
  • Allies beside your target join the blow, and forest and high ground help whoever stands in them.
  • Autobattle plays for you if you'd rather watch. Between fights the company makes camp and heals.

The comics

Brothers' Keeper is also a comic series in five parts. Read the ones that are out here, a page at a time, or download them as PDFs.
